Queen of Tarts

May 31, 2010

Tina Bester is the owner of the fabulous Queen of Tarts, who I’ve mentioned before here and is also the author of two stunning cookbooks, bake and comfort. I popped in recently and of course couldn’t resist taking some photos to share with you.

Apart from the delicious food and friendly service, the decor is what appeals to me most. It has a lovely retro feel with all sorts of amazing, vintage kitchen paraphernalia from cookbooks to enamelware to cutlery. I just love the checkerboard floor, the striped tables and the heart detail on the windows. Perfectly styled and put together, this is must for any foodie or vintage lover!

That's my favourite! It is so soothing and pretty and always brightens up my day. The best chocolate cupcakes too! P.S. You should see my soccer inspired car!
