Elbow patches

Morning friends! Hope you had a great weekend? Thought I’d share a little elbow patch inspiration today all due to this rather sweet DIY heart elbow patch I came across over on Honestly…WTF. Isn’t it too cute, I am very tempted to give it a try! I’m rather liking this trend especially because it’s quite easier to do oneself. It’s the perfect way to jazz up an old sweater or cardi and of course there are so many different looks you can choose. Do you go for a traditional oval in tan leather or a metallic leather patch to add a more modern touch or some beading to add glamour… the list goes on. Are you a fan or are you over this look already?

Funny that you posted that today because this weekend I was wondering if I could put elbow patches on a cardigan that I bought in Gap some time ago, which now has a hole in one elbow.

It's just that its sleeves are 3/4 so I'm wondering if it would look good. It's one of my favourites but I can't wear it like that and it breaks my heart to throw it away.

I'm definitely a fan of elbow patches, although I have to admit that the simpler, the better. I have two sweaters and a blazer with elbow patches and I always wear them with pleasure. xo

I dont think I would do this, while its cute it reminds me to much of school days when my mom use to patch my school blazer – It definately wasnt cool then.
