So what do you think of this naked light bulb trend? I think in the right space it can definitely add a fun element whether it’s more on the quirky side or industrial side, that’s up to you. I do think a colourful cable is necessary or otherwise a cluster of bulbs, if not it ends up looking like one lonely bulb and that you couldn’t afford a lampshade! I particularly love the knotted neon cluster below, it’s perfectly suited to the white Scandi bedroom and adds just the right amount of colour and modern simplicity.

    I’m loving this trend! I’m tempted to buy a clear glass lamp which has an exposed vintage-style bulb in it for my living room.
