Café Frank

Café Frank, Bree Street

Bree Street has become such a vibrant hub, especially at the top end. There’s such a great mix of boutique shops and eateries; Skinny laMinx, Missibaba, Kirsten Goss, Sababa, Jasons… and the list goes on. One of these is Café Frank which does delicious breakfasts, sandwiches and salads amongst other delectable treats. Their focus is on fresh ingredients, ethically-reared meat and poultry and products from small artisan producers and bio-dynamic wine farms. They also offer great picnic boxes, perfect for this time of the year. So pop in for a quick bite, an iced coffee (my favourite) or just to stock up on some of their tasty deli goodies and hand selected wines.

Hello Lana,

It’s great to know of places like this! I’ll be visiting the Cape over Christmas (heading there from Durban). Can you recommend any other CT cafes/restaurants etc. that are leading the sustainability charge? It’s always nice to support them. :)

Hi Jo
There’s a spot called ‘Spades & Spoons’ that you should check out!

this little cafe is a firm favourite of my husbands! I haven’t visited it yet, but it’s on my list of ‘places to pop into!’. Super photos as usual, Lana!
