So here are the rest of my Mauritius pics, I hope they at least give you a glimpse of Mauritian lifestyle. Our hotel was on the north west coast at Trou aux Biches so we mostly explored around the northern part of the island which is really beautiful. We did venture into Port Louis, the capital, on our scooter which was possibly madness! Imagine the hottest day ever, sun baking down whilst trying to avoid being run down by taxis, buses and motorists. It was still fun though and great to travel via scooter which lets you see so much more.

It looks beautiful, but what struck me most is that the Kit-Kat bench is one of the best ads I’ve ever seen! I’m craving chocolate now…
