Ficus carica

August 20, 2013

You may remember my post on the Fiddle Leaf Fig recently? Well, Ficus carica or the common fig tree is also becoming a popular choice for indoors and enclosed spaces. It adds height and a bold sense of nature to any room,  even a single stem in a beautiful vase makes a statement.

I like the idea of having a small tree inside – I guess there’s something very exotic about it. Never considered a fig tree though – nice idea!

Beautiful collection of images, Lana. It’s a really subtle and delicate plant that does work well indoors. Wishing you a lovely day!
