One of the areas in Barcelona that really appealed to us was the Sant Antoni neighbourhood. Sadly the day we chose to visit, turned out to be a regional holiday and so most of the cafés and shops were closed. Luckily the three coffee shops that we had heard about were all open and so we got to check out Café Cometa, Taranná and Federal Café.
We decided to have a quick break at Café Cometa which is a great place to stop and re-charge your batteries. We loved their quirky interior with all the fabulous artworks and colourful decor.
Federal Café was buzzing and absolutely full so unfortunately there was no chance of a quick stop. I’d definitely like to return and explore this area further but who knows when that will happen?!
