I met Chantall last year at Kamers as she was their official photographer. I absolutely loved the photos that she took of the event, they were light and dreamy and captured the Kamers spirit perfectly. Apart from being a talented young photographer, Chantall also does lovely graphic design work with a romantic, feminine feel.
Q & A with Chantall…
Where do you find inspiration?
I seek inspiration in beautiful things, art, stories and the list goes on. But most of all , people. People are the ones who inspire me. People who follow their passion and celebrate small victories. Each success story (no matter how small the victory may be) can be an inspiration for someone else.
Your current colour crush…
My current color crush is grey. But I’m excited to see what Marsala, the 2015 Pantone will be doing this year! It might change my mind soon!
The favourite part of your job…
Working with the most amazing clients, and meeting many other creatives with the same passion. Oh, and working in your pyjamas when you feel like it is a definite plus!
Your interiors style…
My interior style is very simplistic , with a dash of quirkiness. I love anything white and woody.
Your perfect day…
My perfect day would start with a cup of homegrown rooibos tea , greeting my little dog and scrolling through some blogs for pretty inspiration. After that, living my purpose for that day in time would be my kind of perfect <3
At the moment I have few dream purchases – An ONA Camera bag, a Casserole from the Cotton range from Le Creuset and the ultimate at the moment would have to be a 85mm lens! (photographers will know what I’m talking about 😉 )
Which is your favourite social media platform?
I would have to say Instagram, because I’m a ‘picture-person’!
3 favourite design bloggers…
My number one blogger is definitely Nadia Meli, a German Photographer. She writes from the deepest and true places of her heart and the ‘realness’ of her posts continues to inspire me everyday.
