During our holidays we got to visit Havercroft’s just outside Stanford. This tiny restaurant run by husband and wife team, Innes and Brydon, is a real gem. Tucked away in an old unassuming cottage with uninterrupted views of the valley and mountains, it has that real countryside charm.
The menu is fairly small which makes choosing easier and the dishes change regularly depending on local seasonal produce. We were expecting delicious food but were blown away by the flavours and superb creations. This is definitely a spot to visit when you’re next in the Overberg.
Havercroft’s is only open for lunch and be sure to make a booking – 028 341 0603
