Cape Town, What's On

What’s on in April

April 3, 2017

Kirsten Beets Art
April is here and we can look forward to 2 long weekends and the last bits of summer entertaining. These are a few highlights but do visit my What’s On page for more events and happenings.

One of the local artists that I admire is Kirsten Beets so I’m excited to see her solo exhibition at Salon 91 which opens this Wednesday eve at 6:30pm. This Thursday is also First Thursdays so town will be buzzing.

For the foodies, there’s Noordhoek Crush, the SA Cheese Festival and the Elgin Cool Wine & Country Food Festival.
Also check out Veld and Sea, fynbos expert Roushanna Gray, will be holding a number of exciting workshops: Mushroom Foraging, Botanical Cocktail workshops and Wild Flavour classes.

Travel & Tell is a new Cape Town foodie experience hosted by top chef, Ollie, and his equally passionate companion, designer/ artist, Julz, who have trotted to magical spots around the globe and wish to immerse you in a themed evening from each destination. This April they’ll host a Spanish Soiree and Mexican Fiesta.

Towards the end of the month, you can look forward to Decorex and if you’re a yoga fan, then sign up for a 2 hour yoga workshop with Instagram sensation, Jessica Olie.

Happy April!
