New Woodstock addition: The Aviary Café

New Woodstock addition: The Aviary Café

Aviary Cafe Woodstock

The Aviary Café on Sir Lowry Road is a lovely new foodie addition to the area. The small eatery is beautifully put together with a stunning brass counter as you enter and soft watercolour paint effects which were hand painted by the multi-talented owner, Emma Nourse. With the abundance of plants everywhere, it feels like a welcome oasis in the heart of gritty Woodstock.

They serve daily specials and hearty meals as well as unique, artisan bakes. They also make the most stunning cakes which are available on order. This coming Friday, the café will be hosting an art sale of paintings and drawings by Emma and Emalie Bingham. From R200 and upwards! So make a note to pop in between 17h00 – 22h00 for fresh, affordable art.

You’ll find The Aviary Café at 205 Sir Lowry Road | Open hours: Monday to Friday from 7:30am until 4pm.

    13 July

My daughter and I popped into Aviary Café for a midweek (holiday) lunch. A friend of her’s had mentioned the place to her.
We loved it. The clean look and feel, floating shelves, plants etc. on Gympie Street nogal! The food was was scrumptious and the coffee just right.
    Will definitely be back.
