Carey Mulligan plays the main character and is simply amazing, very Audrey Hepburn and totally charming. The movie is based on the memoir by Lynn Barber and set in Britain in 1961, a time of change and the beckoning of glamour and pop culture. The soundtrack is also fantastic, my favourite song being by Beth Rowley, it is so on my wishlist! This movie has me dreaming of a new look, I’m tempted to cut a fringe and work that Audrey chic! What did you think, did you enjoy this as much as I did?
I’m still enjoying the long weekend but thought I would quickly tell you about An Education. I finally got to see it and absolutely loved it, gorgeous dresses, settings, music and oh just about everything!
