A perfect wedding!

Hello friends, did you have a lovely weekend? We had amazing weather here and I got to go for a long walk on the mountain which was great, plus of course we had our Michael Jackson party which was absolutely brilliant!
Did you see the post I put up on Saturday? Everyone loved the photo of the hanging bottles so when I came across this gorgeous wedding yesterday, I knew I just had to blog about it! I spotted the wedding over on 100 Layer Cake and then popped over to Amy’s blog, Eat Drink Chic, to see more.
Amy Moss and her partner planned a beautiful ‘Engagement party’ for all their friends and later on into the event surprised them all by actually having their wedding ceremony there and then! I love the surprise factor and the fact that Amy wore her Mom’s wedding dress! But what I love most is the creative styling, so colourful, casual and relaxed, really simple but absolutely perfectly put together. What do you think, is this not just amazing?! Please visit Amy’s blog for more pics and the full story!

If I show this wedding to my BFF I can expect a gold embossed invite in the post sooner rather than later. I am more the traditionalist type, myself, but I adore how the individuality of the couple is captured in their decor. I don't know them from Adam but it seems like it was not just a case of a whole bunch of decisions about place settings and sugared almonds and tiered confectionery made for them. Awesome.

Gorgeous! When I have my 20th anniversary, I want to do it all again – we'll call it a renewal of vows celebration and it will be bright and fun and colourful just like this. Thanks for sharing!
