Swedish florals

I’ve been seeing this particular botanical inspired print in various homes and interiors and absolutely loving it but had no idea where it came from. Luckily I spotted this amazing sofa by Kim Klelund in the  latest Livingetc and finally managed to track down where it came from! Of course, as many great designs, it comes from Sweden and is a hand printed fabric by Jobs Handtryck.

The fabric is called Rabarber which means rhubarb and comes in two beautiful colourways. I love the slightly retro feel of the design and the bright colours. The sofa in this fabric is just incredible, I wish it were mine! These are some of the other fabrics by Jobs that are just as appealing…

Although this isnt my style at all, I can see its appeal and that it would look really stylish in some homes! Nice fabric find!

Another tip from me would be checking out Josep Franks prints at Svenskt Tenn home page. He was the founder of this super stylish shop in Stockholm and he was also an excellent fabic designer among other things. Its a classic in Sweden!
    But oh so expensive….

Hi sweetie you are on a floral high!

We have a long tradition of these "Frank" inspired fabrics in Sweden. And they never go out of style.

I am going to Sweden end of July and I am so buying you a pillow similar to this! It would be so much fun for me – and I have never shipped anything to Cape Town before! (Let's chat about the color).
