So for part of our holiday we stayed at a stunning beach house called South Winds just past Simons Town which was literally perched right on the water’s edge. The best part was walking a few steps to our very own beach for a dip. The water was really quite warm and you could swim right out into the sea, it was almost like swimming in a giant swimming pool. The views were incredible and it was really a treat to sit at my laptop and do some work looking out onto the ocean. The house is only about ten minutes away from Simons Town so we popped into town often for tasty cappuccinos, fish and chips and also a fantastic canoe trip to Boulders. Ah don’t I wish I was still there!
