Cool blues

Cool blues

Hey friends, how has your week been? Successful, productive? I must admit, it’s been hard to be productive this week just because it’s been so unbearably hot! All I can do is dream of iced drinks, water, swimming and cool breezes. I’m feeling the need to surround myself with cool blues and floaty dresses. Just looking at these images helps! Any exciting plans for the weekend? I’m not sure what I’m up to but sometimes being spontaneous is the best! Have a good one!

PS go check out Ingrid’s fab Swimmingly post on Cohabitaire, it’s sure to cool you down! Perhaps not so good for our friends in the Northern hemisphere!

It is unbearably hot here in Melbourne too. And, we have just had a massive torrential downpour so hot, wet and muggy now. We are arriving in Cape Town in 2 weeks for a holiday- hopefully the weather is sunny but not too hot then! Stay cool

I just returned from roasting in Australia and Fiji so I KNOW you must be broiling. But I confess it's hard to remember that heat whilst I'm shivering away in my house under quilts with a heating pad in my lap. ๐Ÿ™‚ Love colors all the same – especially that last shot. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Lana,
After being hit by 10 inches of snow, looking at your blog today made me daydream of the sunshine, dreamy sun dresses, and an ice cold drink by the pool.

    A girl can dream right?

Thanks so much sharing my Swimmingly story – there was plenty of that going on over the weekend with it hitting 41C here in Sydney.
