Nature is best

A weekend away in a small wooden cottage surrounded by fynbos and mountains is just what I needed. Of course a swimming pool and dam helped what with the incredible heat! So I spent most of my time in and out of the pool, lying in the hammock, I finished reading a book, did some Spanish studying, played boules and relaxed some more. All in all, a fantastic weekend! We stayed here, in case you’re interested! I’m a little behind in reading, researching and general blog stuff, so that’s my aim for the week ahead. So today’s post is short and sweet, just a few pics from my weekend away…

Lana, honestly, yours is the only blog that I check-in on on a regular basis. Life is so hectic for everyone and a lot of people grab a glass of wine and such to relax. I head to your blog! The images and the words are lovely. Beautiful and so relaxing. I am so jealous of your climate. I want to teleport to all of these lovely snow-free places.
