Surviving the Winter Blues Giveaway!

Surviving the Winter Blues Giveaway!

Yay, more exciting news for all my local readers, I have another fantastic giveaway for you! (I promise there will be one for all my overseas readers soon, I haven’t forgotten about you!) But back to today’s giveaway…

By now I hope you have all heard about and been to visit The Fringe Arts at Spier and the Waterfront. Why should you, you ask? Well, because both shops are jam packed with the most gorgeous SA designed goodies curated by the lovely Chantal and Thessa. Perfect for finding unique gifts, treats and affordable local art. And more importantly the Waterfront pop-up shop will be closing down on the 1st of May so you need to get there soon and get shopping!

The latest SA designer to be stocked by The Fringe Arts is Tanya of Sootcookie. Tanya makes the most unique and interesting ceramics. Her picnic sets are really cool but what I love most are her quirky ceramic animals, I’ve been eyeing her bunnies with the gold zipper detail for a while now (You can see more of them here). And now you have a chance to win one her creatures thanks to The Fringe Arts!

We want to know what your recipes are for surviving the Winter Blues! What do you do to keep warm, cosy and motivated through the chillier weather? Chantal likes to drink hot water with ginger, honey and lemon while Thessa likes to move her bed in front of the fireplace and hibernate! I like the sound of both of those, add a huge pile of books and magazines for inspiration and I’m happy!

My winter warmer recipe is most definitely hot chocolate, hot boyfriend, blankets, pillows and some romcoms on those chilly nights! And then some! Hahaha

But if I lived in a world where I could have anything, it would include a bear skin rug and a fireplace. Oh boo for no fireplace.

I saw these ceramic bunnies on a post about Design Indaba on a blog. I absolutely fell in love with these peculiar creatures!

I also like the Fringe arts on FB. Thanks for the giveaway Lana and Fringe Arts, you guys rock.

Autumn is here too. In fact it feels it has been here for ever already and we are only a month into it.. Sigh.
Summer just disappeared over night and I was not at all ready for that. The beach is still on my mind and I am determined to get one more day in..!

    Happy Tuesday to you!
