Mungo Design is a small textile company situated at Old Nick Village, a 19th Century Cape farm complex near Plettenberg Bay, which houses artists, crafters and other creative spirits who create and sell in this inspiring atmosphere. The team at Mungo weave and design the most gorgeous fabrics. They create beautiful soft furnishings from chenille throws to towels, napkins, table cloths, gowns and tea towels. All of their fabrics actually start off as samples created on old textile equipment and looms in the Living Weaving Museum within the village. I’d love to visit one day and see this in action!
You’ll find Mungo’s goodies at lovely decor shops such as LIM, Nap and L Orangerie. Two readers each stand a chance of winning a beautiful set of 4 Mungo cotton and linen tea towels. All you have to do is ‘like’ Mungo’s facebook page, that’s it, so simple! Once they reach 100 ‘likes’ they’ll pick two random winners, so go like them now, I already have!
