They have a few other fun things planned for the evening (see the flyer below) but what appeals to me most is the ‘Ball auction’! Freeworld has asked 45 leading creatives to create unique artworks out of yellow soccer balls which will then be auctioned on the night. So this is your chance to bid for a ball and grab a piece of local art! All proceeds will be going to charity. It sounds like such a great event! Below are a few sneak peeks of some of the balls that will be on auction. Aren’t they amazing? So interesting to see how each artist has created such a unique look!
I’m happy to see how many entries we have so far the Quote bag giveaway, looks like we chose the right bag! Today I wanted to tell you about Freeworld Design Centre and what they have planned for this Thursday. They will be changing their pods and launching a new “Spring Break” exhibition (you can see their previous exhibition here) in conjunction with a Women’s Day celebration in aid of the Safe Spaces Campaign which aims to raise awareness about the need for greater safety for women and girls.
