Bontebok National Park

I had a fantastic weekend at the Bontebok National Park just outside Swellendam. While my boyfriend and his cycling team did a 202km bike race  in and around the area, I enjoyed a peaceful day at the nature reserve. I explored all 3 trails and then relaxed and swam in the Breede River. A perfect day in my books! We camped but there are also some amazing looking self-catering chalets available. There were so many birds and tortoises and of course bontebok to be seen.

Hey Lana – you are obviously quite an outdoor-ish girl. The Bontebok is an amazing place to go. I was there so many years ago, I cannot even remember when, but it looks like a real chill place.
