The conservatory at Babylonstoren

The conservatory at Babylonstoren

You may remember that I blogged about Babylonstoren and their restaurant, Babel, last year in January so I thought it was high time for a return visit and I especially wanted to see their new conservatory. Well, all I can say is that if you haven’t yet visited, what are you waiting for?!
The conservatory is a wonderful new addition to this old Cape Dutch farm and is perfect for day visitors who are needing a bite to eat and a few refreshments after wandering through the extensive garden. The attention to detail is fantastic and everything has a real wholesome and organic feel. Choosing your own fresh herbs from the conservatory to make a tasty pot of tea is just one of their special touches. Excellent food, friendly service and no reservations needed, so all the more reason to visit.

Another gorgeous post that makes me want to hop on a plane and go to S-Africa right away.

I was on a short blog break as my hard drive crashed. I'm slowly catching up and I was just browsing through all the wonderful posts you've been writing lately.

    I hope you're enjoying a wonderful Monday 😉

What a spot! We actually have a very similar set up in one of the large parks in Stockholm. It is called "The Rose Valley Gardens" and it is a conservatory nestled under old apple trees. Just like this place it is calm, serene and beautiful.

Thank you for participating in my 2cents series. Your picture is what the neighbors (at the bus stop) were talking about this morning! (:

I must must must go and visit again to see this beautiful conservatory! It's my secret dream to have a conservatory one day…it seems such a peaceful and light-filled space to read a book and drink tea!
And that fig cupcake looks yum!
