Lula Fabrics has just come out with a new range called The Silk Road, inspired by the hand-woven textiles of ancient China and the desert oases of Bhukhara, Samarkand, Kashgar (now known as Uzbekistan). The range was inspired by traditional Ikats and Suzani’s from the 19th century, the delicate textiles carried by traders on the famous route from China to Russia and back, famously known as the Silk Road. This new range consists of some really striking and beautiful designs and co-ordinates perfectly with Lula’s previous collections. That’s what I love most about Lula Fabrics, that each collection builds on from the previous one and so all of their designs and fabrics work perfectly together. Lula Fabrics have also launched their own collection of aprons, shoppers and fun ballet pumps which I’m definitely after!
