Morning friends! Since Easter weekend is just around the corner, I thought I’d share how to create an Easter table setting with a difference. Instead of going for a traditional setting with plenty of pastels, why not embrace autumn and create a rustic and warm look. Taking Easter outdoors makes for a fun experience and what better place than a forest to create a magical Easter hunt too.
This setting is super easy to create. You’ll need to make some colorful bunting to set the scene so pop down to your closest fabric shop and buy a few different fabrics that work well together. Cut out triangular segments and staple them to some ribbon or string for a quick fix. Then gather some colorful napkins and bowls from your home and either blankets or cushions to sit on.
You’ll need some props too, so look out for cheap ceramic bunnies and then paint them yourself in colours that work with your setting. Start gathering an assortment of different tags to use as name cards and write out your guest’s names for a personal touch. Buy some wooden recyclable cutlery to add to the rustic feel and also start collecting egg boxes to use as props and holders.
Lastly and most importantly, you’ll need an interesting selection of Easter bunnies, eggs and hot cross buns and a beautiful bunch of flowers to complete the look!
