A few weeks ago my sister and I worked on a fun shoot for artist René Twigge. We had to style René’s artworks into various settings, keeping it as simple as possible to ensure that the artworks themselves were the center of attention. They are absolutely incredible in real life and so striking, I can see them working in just about any setting. René is a South African fine artist turned digital artist. She started experimenting with digital mediums to find new ways of artistry and during this process developed a unique method, integrating digital technology and traditional painting techniques. The result being exceptional abstract and contemporary artworks, infused with rich vibrant colours.
We did the shoot at the Mid-Century Modern Showroom in Woodstock which was the perfect setting. It was fantastic to make use of their amazing furniture as props. These are just a few images from the shoot, let me know what you think!
