Spring is on the way

Spring is on the way

spring daisies at Darling

We spent the weekend up on a citrus farm near Citrusdal which was just lovely. The weather wasn’t too good so we kept the fire going and did lots of reading and relaxing. We spotted patches of daisies on our drive up but because the sun wasn’t shining, many were closed. On our way home though, it was a gorgeous and sunny day and so all of the spring flowers and Namaqualand daisies were out in their masses, brightening fields and the sides of the road. Such a beautiful sight! We took a detour past Darling and spotted most of the flowers there and also discovered Darling Brew’s tap room. Posts on both these to come later in the week, in the meanwhile just a few snaps from my weekend…

Lana these are beautiful!! Getting so excited to head down (closer to) your way quite soon! Heading to Zim in Oct, not sure if we’ll make it to SA this trip but it’s been 10 years away from the region so I’m just thrilled to be back!
Hope you have a wonderful week!

Autumn hasn’t even arrived over here but when I look at these I just want to go straight from summer to spring! Is that possible?
