Last week I attended the launch of the new Wellness Warehouse Café in Wembley Square which is a great spot for a healthy bite but more about that later. We left with a lovely goodie bag filled with Rooibos & Orange Spice Tea (very tasty), Organic raw cacao nibs (unusually addictive!) and a box of Gluten Free Chocolate Brownie mix. Of course I couldn’t wait to try out the brownie mix especially since I am actually trying to avoid gluten. One word… scrumptious! The instructions couldn’t be simpler and the brownies were moist and so delicious, not too sweet or heavy. I will definitely be making these again.
I did make a few changes to the recipe though:
I added 30ml of sunflower oil to the mixture and also substituted the pecan nuts for almond slivers. Lastly I baked them for just 20 minutes.
