We’re not really big on Halloween here in SA, you’ll see Halloween outfits in costume hire shops but not much actual Halloween window dressing or home decor. I’m certainly not mad about all the tacky ghoulish outfits but I do think it can be fun to extract the typical Halloween elements and create seasonal table settings. I absolutely love this ombre style pumpkin, it adds such a bright, modern touch and I think the orange and hot pink look fabulous together.
I also came across this gorgeous table setting idea below from Hey Look. They created the chalkboard runner, so clever! Don’t you think this would make a great base for a Halloween themed table setting too? Just substitute the terracotta pots and flowers for mini pumpkins and perhaps one or two large neon ombre pumpkins and you’ll instantly have a great, stylish setting. Of course you could then add a few more wacky decorations like candlesticks decorated with cobwebs and spiders but I think I’ll stick with the ‘less is more’ look. There also loads of birthdays at the moment, so I’m loving these DIY printable gift wrap sheets. Have a happy Halloween!
