This is another winner recipe that I’ve got from my mom. It’s super easy and quick to make plus really delicious, so I definitely recommend you give it a try! It would be perfect as part of Christmas hamper, just wrap the banana loaf in some pretty paper and ribbon and attach a festive gift tag. These free printable tags from Design Sponge or Hey Look would be lovely.
125g margarine (you can use butter if you prefer)
360g cake flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp vanilla essence
4 ripe bananas + 65ml milk already mashed together
Beat the margarine and sugar together well.
Add all the other ingredients and mix well.
Pour into a greased baking tin and bake at 180° C for 1 hour.
