Washi tape DIY

Washi tape DIY

Here’s a really quick DIY project for you today. I decided to decorate some old glass jam jars with washi tape and then popped in some tealight candles. They look so pretty lit up at night, instant party table decor! They would also make fun, homemade Christmas gifts or stocking fillers. So start collecting those glass bottles!

  1. I’ve seen so many variations on this kind of DIY but genuinely this is the prettiest version I’ve seen! I like how you have layered the tapes; the styling is spot on, too. x

Hi Lana- now this is a really clever way of doing Washi Tape and glass jars. My every increasing collection now has even more purpose. Gotta find more little jars.

These are really pretty. Does the tape stay on even when the jars get hot?

      Hi Candy
Yes, it does! I’ve found that washi tape sticks to glass very well, other surfaces not so much.
