Canola fields, flamingos & sea air

Canola fields

Happy Monday friends! What did you all get up to this past weekend? We had a wonderful time in Arniston, staying at The Arniston Spa Hotel which was a real treat. The journey there was more beautiful than ever as we passed through endless fields of luminous yellow canola. Another highlight was watching a flock of flamingos take flight which was just amazing. After a lovely weekend of sea air and nature, I feel ready for the busy week ahead.

My boyfriend did caricatures at a wine estate in Franschhoek this weekend and we also saw loads of bright canola fields while driving there. The sun was setting when we drove back yesterday and it was even more beautiful. I saw flamingoes flying for the first time a while back.

Hi Natasha, I think the Western Cape is probably looking it’s best at the moment… what with all the spring blossoms and greenness after the rain. And the canola fields are so striking. Have a lovely week ahead 🙂
