Yesterday was the first day of Stellenbosch Kamers 2013 and of course I couldn’t resist going, even though I’m swamped with work! There’s nothing like a trip to the countryside to soothe the soul. This year the event takes place at Webersburg which is a beautiful wine estate on the outskirts of Stellenbosch, with rolling green lawns and mountain views.
I spotted some amazing goodies and took loads of pics which I’ll share more of tomorrow. But as you can see from these, there’s a lot of creativity and handmade goodness to be found! I treated myself to the most beautiful bunch of peonies from Okasie. Make sure you have plenty of time when you visit so that you can enjoy a bite to eat and take your time browsing, there really is a lot to see. Kamers runs until this coming Sunday the 10th.
