Yesterday morning I stepped into a cosy wintery setting at the lovely Woodlands Eatery to preview the Winter collections for Poetry and Old Khaki. I spotted some really gorgeous pieces that have absolutely made their way onto my Winter wish list. Now I just need to patiently wait until late April for the new collections to hit the stores!
Poetry revealed an inviting, warm palette from moody charcoals and greys, to bold reds, deep maroons and chic navy. Interesting details and textures such as diamond quilting and cable knits are key. Plus plenty of layering with longer length blouses peeping out underneath regular length knitwear pieces, worn with relaxed jackets. How lovely are the rose scarves?
The palette at Old Khaki is fairly similar with plenty of rich, moody tones. Their collection is full of quirky pieces such as their Scandi inspired wooly jumper and their super cute jumper with mini pom pom detail. Expect to see loads of textures and interesting boho embroidery, prints and military detailing. They have some amazing coats and parkas and the menswear looks fantastic too, just in case you need to let the hubby know!
