I was lucky enough to be sent a pair of All Terrain Supers from Reebok recently… yes there are definitely perks to being a blogger! I’ve been putting them to the test and so far they’ve really come out tops. Just the neon colours alone make me feel more sporty and motivated… and for your average everyday athlete like me this is key.
The All Terrain Supers have been specifically designed for obstacle course racing such as the super fun Impi Challenge and have some really great specs which you can read all about here. Not being an obstacle racer I haven’t tested them in extreme conditions but I have taken them on numerous trail runs and have been really impressed with their performance.
They’re incredibly light weight and have a fantastic grip which you can see just by looking at the soles. Another fantastic feature is that they have strategically placed water drainage holes. So if your run takes you through muddy puddles or rivers, you can literally shake the water out. How brilliant is that?! Take a look at this great video clip where Heather shows us this drainage feature, in crazy snowy conditions too.
I think one of the best features of these shoes is that they’re incredibly easy to clean. Last weekend I did a run on a farm and the trails were incredibly muddy and slippery after a night of heavy rain. I came home with my beautiful new shoes in a muddy mess. But after a quick spray down with the hose on a high pressure, they were looking spotless again. Minimal cushioning and a non absorbent tongue means that they dry a lot faster too. This is really good news if you enjoy doing winter trail runs.
A big thank you to Reebok for sending me a pair of these awesome shoes, they’ve really helped keep me motivated through winter. Summer body here we come!
Disclosure: Reebok provided me with these shoes free of charge however all opinions expressed are solely my own. I only post about a product or brand if it’s a good fit for the Lanalou Style aesthetic and if it’s something I genuinely approve of.
