I recently received a hamper of gorgeous goodies from Rain, a local company that specialises in nature friendly body-care. The Bee Essential Remedies range harnesses the active properties of honey, propolis and beeswax along with botanical extracts. The range consists of an assortment of nourishing, protective balms, butters and scrubs, all patiently hand-crafted using traditional methods.
Honey is packed with Vitamin B and C as well as amino acids and the essential minerals calcium, copper, magnesium and iron. It has powerful free radical scavenging properties due to phenolic and non-phenolic antioxidants. It promotes healthy skin, attracts moisture, soothes, softens and heals.
The range has a lovely old world feel and and the packaging is just beautiful. A selection of these products would make such a special gift, don’t you agree?
My favourites are the Gardeners hand salve and Herbal heel balm which are both so moisturising. I’m looking forward to testing out the Insect Balm on my next camping trip. It contains lemongrass and coconut oil, amongst other ingredients, so it has a delicious scent.
My sister actually tested out the Sunburn Salve after she spent an unexpected afternoon in the sun. She arrived at my house with the reddest, burnt face and so I handed over the Sunburn salve. We thought she wouldn’t be able to leave the house for days but after applying loads of the salve, her face was looking normal the next day with just a hint of colour. Amazing!
Disclosure: Rain Bee Essential products were gifted to me however all opinions expressed are solely my own. I only post about a product or brand if it’s a good fit for the Lanalou Style aesthetic and if it’s something I genuinely approve of.
