So my very first outing in Berlin was a trip to a super cool rooftop bar in Neukölln, thanks to my friends who are locals in the know. Klunkerkranich is a relaxed urban garden and drinking spot on top of a shopping centre, Neukölln Arkaden. A large concrete car park has been transformed into an incredible and artistic space where you can chill out and enjoy a drink with friends.

We were there mid-week, in the early afternoon so it was peaceful and quiet. The views of the city from up above are really quite special and I can imagine that a sundowner here would be the ultimate Berlin experience.
