Free Printable Christmas Cracker

Christmas printable

I love it when bloggers share free printables with their readers and so I thought I would start a Designer Freebie series here on Lanalou Style too. I know so many talented local designers and I thought it would be great to showcase their work and at the same time share a freebie with you.

So today we have the lovely Jo Reidy from Pretty Pretty kicking off the series. Jo has designed the loveliest DIY Christmas Cracker for us. All you need to do is download the PDF and print the second page onto cardboard (Page 1 is a set of handy instructions). Then cut, fold, tie and voila… you have your own custom made Christmas cracker. I think the best part will be thinking of something fun to pop inside.

Jo is a true Cape Town creative who started her career off in graphic design. These days she specialises in digital design work and also creates the cutest hand crafted accessories.

Q & A with Jo…

Where do you find inspiration?
As cliched as this sounds, Pinterest is hugely valuable to me. I find it a great place to store and bookmark amazing stuff I have seen on the internet and I constantly use it for reference.

Your current colour crush…
Currently it’s a close battle between dark grey (we just painted the outside of our house this colour) and sapphire blue (just bought myself a cute t-shirt in this colour).

The favourite part of your job…
Getting paid! (that’s everyone’s favourite bit isn’t it?)
Seriously – the whole design process is great fun. Sadly there are bits that are less appealing than others like admin, difficult clients or mad deadlines, but all in all, I love the whole process.

Your interiors style…
Eclectic – a mix of modern and vintage, monotone and bright colours.

Your perfect day…
We (my husband and I) recently fell in love with Berlin, so probably a day spent exploring this fabulous city further.

Dream buy…
A holiday house along the West Coast.

Which is your favourite social media platform?
Probably Instagram.

3 favourite design bloggers…
Wow – this is a tough one (there are so many!) So randomly picked, here are three I am currently loving: Fubiz, Lost At E Minor and The Jealous Curator.
