If you’re a fan of locally made goods and love supporting SA designers then you need to make a note to visit KIN. This charming little gift shop on vibrant Kloof Street is always filled to the brim with gorgeous goodies which are beautifully curated.
KIN stocks a wide variety of goods from jewellery and stationery, to artworks, homeware, kiddies gifts and more. They have 112 designers who supply them with stock and the only criteria is that the goods are all locally made as this is something that KIN firmly believes in. Chantal, the owner of KIN is passionate about business in South Africa and has just been nominated for the Businesswomen’s Association Regional Business Achiever Award. The winner will be announced this week Thursday and so I’m holding thumbs for this lovely lady!
They’ve just given their shop a lick of paint and have re-styled their shelves with loads of new stock so KIN is looking fresh and as pretty as ever. For those of who you who aren’t based in Cape Town, you can always do some shopping via their online store.
