On my weekend away in McGregor I spent two nights at the lovely Tumbleweed Cottage. This self-catering home sleeps six and has a relaxed, laid back feel with a rustic flair. The cottage has a large garden with a braai area and splash pool which would be great for summer entertaining. The open-plan living area has a fireplace too so no matter what the season, this cottage is a winner.
I also spent a night at Le bonheur which is a guesthouse run by Jenny and her husband, Martyn. They have two suites and offer bed and breakfast. The room I stayed in was cosy and comfortable and looked out onto their stunning garden. This accommodation is perfect for a night or two, for the guest who likes to eat out and explore.
