Mill Stone Pottery
Another one of my McGregor discoveries was Millstone Pottery studio which you’ll find in quiet street just off the Main Road. I’m always fascinated by creatives’ work spaces and love seeing where all the action takes place and this lovely pottery studio lets you do just that. Here you can chat to husband and wife team, Paul and Nina about their work and take a look at their workshop and all their various wood-fired kilns.

Being able to meet the designer or maker always makes buying something more special, don’t you agree? And of course once you understand the process of how it’s made, you appreciate the object even more. So here’s to meeting, connecting with and supporting local artisans!
