Arcade is one of the newest spots to hit Bree Street and is already proving to be super popular. We visited just before the holidays started and I haven’t had a chance to share my experience yet.
Situated on the corner of Bree and Pepper, this restaurant meets bar is in an absolutely prime location. The look is edgy, industrial and hip but with a relaxed atmosphere. Inside you’ll find a large, spacious interior with the most stunning copper lighting and Tolix style chairs. Plenty of outdoor seating looking out onto Bree Street’s Acacia trees adds to the appeal.
Arcade offers a café style menu with pizzas, burgers and salads and is open until late. We tried their burgers and were not blown away however we did visit in their first week of trading, so hopefully improvements are inevitable. The staff and service was great and the vibe was awesome. As we were leaving, the place was buzzing and for a minute I felt as though we could be in Berlin or New York. Looking forward to another visit on the next balmy summer’s evening.
