Last week I featured some bold decor ideas, a fusion of Seventies retro and tropical elements. I really do love this look but know that it’s not be for everyone. So today I want to show you how you can create a more subdued look which still exudes that vibrant boho summer feel yet in a more pared back way.
With just a few accessories, you can create this look in no time. The right fabrics are key and I’m mad about the Treasure Island collection from Hertex. Plants, plants and more plants! The lovely Alex from Windowsill supplied all of the plants for our shoot. She really has a knack for finding unusual plants and planting them up beautifully. Lastly look out for woven baskets and gorgeous macrame pieces to emphasise the retro element.
