This past weekend I was treated to a luxurious stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront. The setting is just magnificent being right on the water’s edge and yet so close to the city centre. Cape Town’s beaches, the V&A Waterfront and the Convention Centre are all easily accessible which makes the hotel great for both business and holiday makers.
We stayed in a luxurious Business Class Room which was incredibly spacious with its own private balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. I don’t think one can ever tire of a view like this?
You can’t get much closer to the sea than this and so you can imagine how spectacular sundowners are at their restaurant, Tobago’s. Remember you don’t have to be a hotel guest to enjoy this experience! We had a fantastic dinner and soaked up the atmosphere. Definitely something to be repeated.
The buffet breakfast was seriously one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. There was so much on offer from freshly pressed orange juice and wholesome smoothies to virgin Bloody Mary’s and that’s just the drinks! The buffet was also beautifully presented with so much attention to detail. A breakfast here would be a great way to celebrate a birthday or special occasion.
The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and efficient which made our stay that much better, if only we could have stayed longer. Next time round, a trip to their Amani Spa is on the cards, oh and more cocktails of course!
Hop over here to view the hotel’s current specials and keep in touch via Facebook or Instagram.
