Creating a home that feels good has always been a must for me. I love to surround myself with pieces that I’ve collected over the years and that hold meaning for me.
During the last few years I’ve become conscious of what I buy, from whom and the reason behind the purchase. Choosing to have less and live in a simpler way is really becoming more appealing to me. Having said that… my eye is still always drawn to gorgeous, colourful pieces with a unique touch. And handcrafted is even better. Pilgrimage Spaces is one of the local brands that gets my stamp of approval. Owner, Tanya, personally sources all of the products from Indonesia and India and most of them are specifically designed and tailor made for Pilgrimage.
I recently worked with Tanya to photograph some of the current range with our focus being on their carved headboards and Balinese umbrellas. Keep an eye over on the Pilgrimage Instagram feed for more images and product updates – PS there’s a Bali shipment arriving any day now!
