We spent the last few days of our holiday at KolKol Mountain Lodge which you’ll find just outside Botrivier. We stayed in Sugarbush Cabin which is a cosy cottage that sleeps two, with the most breathtaking views of the valley and mountains in the distance. The cottage is beautifully decorated in a simple, rustic style and it has its own wood-fired hot tub. Such a unique feature and how wonderful to sit in a heated tub with a cocktail in hand and watch the sun go down!

There were so many special details from a personalized welcome note to butter, eggs and rusks on arrival, which only made our stay more welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the large dam every day which was just minutes away and being totally surrounded by fynbos. The peace and quiet was quite magical and we’re already looking forward to a return visit!
