My partner and I were treated to a fabulous two night stay at The Trevoyan Guesthouse earlier this week. This lovely Victorian villa is set in the heart of Tamboerskloof and is perfectly situated for exploring the city. Just a few minutes walk away, you’ll find some of Cape Town’s favourite bars, eateries and boutiques (The Blue Café, The Power & The Glory and Saigon to name just a few). We really enjoyed being able to leave the car behind and walk down the road for a bite to eat.
The Trevoyan has seven beautiful rooms with en-suite bathrooms and an inviting lounge that is available to everyone. Each morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast in their breakfast room which overlooks the swimming pool and garden. They also have a small roof top terrace with two delightful Strandkorbs, the perfect spot for an afternoon of reading.
Owner, Dominique, and her staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and aim to make one feel at home. I loved the relaxed ambiance and quiet, peaceful setting. Sadly our stay was too short! I would definitely recommend a stay at The Trevoyan for your next Cape Town city visit.
