I spent the last few days of my holiday in Madrid and only had three days to explore the city which obviously wasn’t enough time. However I did get a good feel for the city and discovered some amazing spots and barrios. Malasaña, La Latina, Chueca, Barrio de Las Letras and Anton Martin were definitely my favourites. Madrid is edgy, gritty, young and full of energy. A wonderful contrast of old and new.
