Cosy winter picnic

Lanalou Style Picnic
The days are getting cooler but that’s no excuse to stay indoors. Last week, the weather cleared perfectly after a rainy start and we put together a lovely picnic in Deer Park.

And who says a picnic can’t be stylish? I styled up a beautiful setting complete with stunning throws, copper lanterns, luxe gold cutlery and a gorgeous rug.

Here are a few of my tips for planning the perfect picnic…

Plan & prepare ahead of the time!
Arrive early to find a good spot
Bring along some wooden crates to use as tables for drinks
Plenty of cutting boards which can also be used as serving trays
Go with tumblers instead of wine glasses
Choose snacks and dishes that are easy to transport
Bring along napkins and extra tea towels
Gather extra blankets and throws to keep your guests warm

Now invite some friends and head to the beach, forest or even your local park and soak up some Mother Nature!
