Lately my Instagram feed is ablaze with gorgeous wisteria blooms. It seems this is the flower to photograph this Spring and everyone is on the hunt for that perfect wisteria sighting! Check out #wisteriahysteria, you’re in for a treat.
The above photo was taken by Olivia E – @uptownheelsdowntownflats and features the incredible Wisteria Festival which takes place annually at Ashikaga Flower Park in Ashikaga City, Japan. After seeing the stunning photos of this festival, it’s now firmly on my bucket list. Apparently there is one large fuji (wisteria) tree that is 100 years old and its branches are supported to create a huge umbrella of blue flowers. There are also long tunnels of flowers and white, pink and yellow varieties on display.
Another wisteria photo hotspot is Aubaine Selfridges in London. It’s easy to see why! Love this capture by Minna Lee – @livingminnaly

This is one of the most photographed doors in London! This gorgeous pink door in Notting Hill gets loads of attention with its mass of wisteria.
