Last week I was invited to experience the @Four Cousins restaurant out in Robertson. I’d seen stunning images of their new space on Instagram and was intrigued to see it person. As you enter Robertson from the Worcester side, you’ll immediately see @Four Cousins on your left, you can’t miss it.
The new @Four Cousins home is surprisingly large and they’ve cleverly created different areas to sit in so you can pick which one appeals to you. The same food is served throughout though. They also have a fantastic jungle gym and chickens strutting around the garden so it’s definitely a place for the whole family.

First up is their shop and spacious tasting room which opens up onto a deck with a lovely countryside view. They have a number of food and wine pairings but these were really not my cup of tea. I opted for their Boet Beer tasting instead and sampled their four different beers which are all made on the premises – these cousins are busy! And yes, they really are cousins in case you were wondering.

The interior is contemporary and clean with plenty of windows all round to allow in light and greenery. Pink and copper accents soften the look and the ambience is relaxed and friendly.

Their menu is extensive with literally something for everyone. Salads, flatbreads, pizzas, burgers, steaks and grills… what to choose? At first some of the pricing seemed a bit expensive but when our meals arrived we quickly saw why… the potions are incredibly generous. The dishes are hearty, flavorsome and well presented, you’ll certainly leave with a full and happy belly! I really enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be back for a second visit. Perhaps breakfast next time round?

Disclosure: My meal and drinks at @Four Cousins were complimentary. As always, the opinions and thoughts herein are my own.
